events will be held from 2nd to 9th February 2013 at MAS Park Hotel, Kurunegals
Road, Alawwa. We hope this will be a great event for the event. |

We are
expecting players from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Maldives to play
in the event. |

This
is the initial stage of the World Chess Championships where the Open and
women Champions are eligible to play in the Future World Cups. Last year Champions GM Zia played in the World Cup 2011 and Women Champion WIM Sachini Ransinghe played in the Women's World Cup 2012 in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia. |

We are
offering a fee of Rs. 25,000/- for local additional players to play in
the event. The event is open for all title players in Sri Lanka(Sri Lankan
Nationals) and all those who played in the National Chess Championship
Cycle (Major/ National B ) with a rating higher than 1700 (for female
Rating higher than 1500). All National A 2012 players will be considered
even without a rating. The official Sri Lankan Players will be informed
personally. |
